Carol HoldsworthCarol Holdsworth has seventeen years experience in entertainment marketing, corporate communications and publicity in the film, television, home entertainment and consumer products industries.

Prior to partnering with Michelle Orsi and Three.Sixty Marketing & Communications, Carol worked as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at MarVista Entertainment, an independent producer and distributor of family entertainment programming. Responsible for program sales across the company’s diverse catalog to select territories, she also developed and implemented all marketing and communications activities for the Company to promote its programs to overseas television and home video buyers.

Previously, Carol worked for Haim Saban for almost ten years, initially at Saban Entertainment and subsequently for six years at Fox Family Worldwide--a joint venture family entertainment company between Haim Saban and Rupert Murdoch, comprised of the Fox Family Channel, the Fox Kids Network, Saban Entertainment and Fox Kids International.

As Senior Vice President of International Marketing and Corporate Communications, Carol spearheaded the marketing and communications efforts for the international distribution division for ten years, developing the positioning and producing the print and online creative for hundreds of television movies and children’s animated and live-action series licensed to broadcasters worldwide.

Carol was also responsible for the strategy and implementation of the trade and consumer media campaigns for the first Fox Kids Europe channel launch and continued to support the media and marketing efforts during channel roll-out phase across Europe, Latin America and Asia, which subsequently reached more than 35 million households in 73 countries.  She also developed and implemented marketing and on-air packages to attract new Fox Kids branded programming blocks on key broadcast channels throughout Latin America and Asia, reaching approximately 100 million viewers.

Carol also launched consumer campaigns in Europe, Latin America and Asia to support the debut of many kids’ properties, including Power Rangers one of the most successful children’s television properties of all time.  She was responsible for leveraging relationships with broadcasters, licensing agents and PR companies across the globe to cross-promote television broadcast and consumer products releases and build unified communications initiatives.

During her first four years at Saban Entertainment, Carol developed an in-house PR department to supervise trade and consumer publicity across all company divisions.  She spearheaded and implemented media strategies for a slate of up to ten new kids’ series annually airing on the Fox Kids Network and in syndication on the Saban Kids Network. Series included Power Rangers, VR Troopers, Francine Pascal’s Sweet Valley High and Marvel Super Heroes.

Carol received a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honors in Business Studies and Marketing at HCHE, now known as the University of Lincoln, in her native UK.
